Every report your way, on any screen

Reports share the same grid tools: sort, filter, choose columns, see totals and export. Many also offer a Table or Table & charts view.

What you get

Table or Table & charts

Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and Monthly Analysis each have a View switch between the table alone and the table with charts.

Trial Balance, Detail Trial and Balance Sheet

Trial Balance screens switch between Trial Balance, Detail Trial Balance (opening, opening transactions, current-year transactions, closing) and Balance Sheet. Filters include Balances, Dates, Fin location and Revenue Account summary.

Multi-level sort

Click a header to sort ascending, descending, or off. Shift-click adds a further level.

Column filters

A 'contains' filter on any column header. Active filters show as removable chips with Clear all and 'Showing N of M rows'.

Resize and cell menu

Drag a column edge to resize, double-click to reset. Right-click or long-press a cell to copy its value or filter by it.

Totals footer

Pinned totals row computed over the rows the filters leave.

Filters popup on phones

On a phone only the primary filter stays in the bar; the rest move behind a 'Filters and view' popup, with a count of active ones.

Excel and PDF export

Grids export to Excel with a house header style; registers and ledgers have PDF output; the Balance Sheet exports PDF, print, email and WhatsApp.

Monthly Analysis

A twelve-month grid per account with an as-on date and Year selector, months still running starred, plus charts.

Aging

Customer aging and subsidiary/general ledger aging have table and card views with aging-bucket chips.

Good to know
  • Available in Business Suite and POS on the newer reports and lists. A few older screens keep fixed columns.
  • Presets are saved for each user.

Views that fit the job

Table

Sortable, filterable grid.

Table & charts

Grid plus charts (Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Monthly Analysis).

Trial / Detail Trial / Balance Sheet

Segments on the trial balance screens.

Cards

Compact card layout for narrow screens.

Manage columns

On reports and registers you choose which columns appear and drag them into order. Your choice carries through to the export.

Tick to show, drag to reorder

A Manage Columns dialog lists every column the list offers. Tick the ones to show, drag to reorder, or Select all and Deselect all, then Apply.

Save as a preset

From the same dialog, save the column choice together with the view's filters as a preset so it can be reused.

Works on all your data

Columns, sorting and filters apply to the whole list, not only the rows on screen.

Where it is available

ERP: Purchase, Sale, Expense, Export and Import registers and the TDS expense listing. POS: Stock, Sale, Sale with Purchase, Bill list, Invoice summary, GST, Product and Purchase Scan lists.

Saved views, called presets

Save the columns, sort order, grouping and filters of a report as a named view. Open it again in one click, make one your default, or use it for a scheduled report.

Your own presets

Save a named preset from the current columns, filters, sort order and optional grouping. Update or delete it later. Updating shows what changed (sort, filters added, changed or removed) before you confirm.

System presets

Ready-made presets are provided and shared. They are read-only; make your own copy to change one.

Set a default

Mark one preset as your default for a report, so the report opens that way for you.

Guard rails

A preset that repeats an existing one is refused and points to the existing one. Up to 50 custom presets per user per report type.

Reused by schedules

A scheduled report can run with a chosen preset (POS).
